Worked with Footprint Features to update their logo and animation sequence, before their upcoming movie releases.
Adam and Mac were looking for a simple and cleaner direction than the original logo while being reminiscent of it and the concept behind it.
The company's name came from their theatre company 'Footprint on the Sun', meaning they are always chasing the seemingly impossible and setting their sights as high as they can.

While their original logo took a more literal approach to the concept, with this 'refresh', we tried to come up with something that would be more fitting when seen in front of the wide repertoire of films the company will be producing.

After exploring a few different directions and design variations, we finalised the new logo.
The illuminating light, acting as the sun and slightly reminding of an old projection room, link up to the identity of Footprint Features. At the same time, the new type and retouched logomark give a modern touch to the sequence.
